The upcoming Ford Explorer comes with three engine options - a 3.5-liter V6 base engine that puts out 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque, a turbocharged 2.3-liter Ecoboost good for 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 kicking out 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. You get a standard front-wheel-drive with the base 3.5-liter and 2.3-liter, and an optional all-wheel-drive. The turbocharged 3.5-liter comes with a standard automaker’s all-wheel-drive.
